The Tri-Cities is a group of three fast-growing Vancouver suburbs:
Coquitlam,
Port Coquitlam,
& Port Moody.
This trio is maturing, shifting from a cluster of suburbs into robust satellite cities in their own right. The population of this region is projected to increase about 12% in the decade from 2017 to 2027, with even more pronounced growth expected within a 3km radius of Coquitlam Centre, where TriCity Central sits.
The region has seen a boom in condominium housing stock over the past five years, with many more condos and single-family homes planned. More than 32% of residents of the Coquitlam Centre trade area are aged 25–45, many of whom are looking for the comfort and conveniences of a suburban home along with urban walkability, hospitality offerings, and energy.

Greater Vancouver has everything residents and commuters need, from indoor retail to outdoor recreation: housing, transit, shopping, hiking, higher education, and more.
A graceful balance between urban and suburban is augmented with natural surroundings—sweeping mountains, lakes, creeks, and wildlife that make British Columbia a hotspot for outdoor recreation.
As TriCity Central grows, it will become a regionally recognized entertainment hub. Set to attract individuals and families looking for something special to do—indoors or out, low-key or high-energy, energizing or restorative. This place has what locals and visitors alike crave.
Hop on a ferry, catch a flight, or experience world-class hiking—all in less than an hour.
With easy access to the WCE commuter rail, you’re connected to Vancouver in the west and Mission in the east. TriCity Central’s gateway, a pedestrian- and cyclist-only overpass, gives residents and visitors access to the SkyTrain Evergreen extension of the Millennium Line, which runs to Vancouver with a planned expansion to UBC. The same gateway also connects the project with many local and regional TransLink bus routes.
